Instructions for using WordPress as CMS

To add or edit new profile.

1.Login to WordPress: http://www.silkandvelvet.co.uk/wp-login.php

2. On the left hand side find POSTS
click on Add New


3. At the top of the page under Add New Post enter name of the girl, e.g. Valentina

4. On the right hand side under Categories> All categories menu a) ! check the portfolio box (this will include the profile you’re creating on Portfolio page)
b) check the featured box if you’d like this profile to be featured on home page
c) check the new box if you want this prifile to appear on home page in the Newest Escorts section

5. From the drop-down menu Post Template choose GirlPost

6. Now you can add the images to the gallery. Please do the following steps:

Under Add New Post where you entered the name, find an icon for Upload/Insert. Click the first icon (if you hover over it it says Add new image). A dialog window will open. Click Select files and select a photo from your computer. Wait until it loads and ! click the Insert into Post button.
To add more photos simply repeat the process. It is preferable you use vertical images, if you have to use a horizontal one, try to upload in the end after the vertical ones so that it looks better on the profile.

7. Under Discussion uncheck these boxes : Allow comments on this post
Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this post

8. Scroll the page to Custom Fields menu. Under Add new custom field select from the dropdown menu : about (here insert your text about the girl), age, availability, location etc and fill out the values on the right under Value. Don’t forget to click Add custom field each time!

(don’t change the custom_post_template value!)

9. Scroll down to All in One SEO Pack. Please fill out the title of page, i.e Blonde escort in SW3, description and keywords for search engines (not mandatory but desirable)

10. At the bottom of the page at Post Thumbnail Options, upload a thumbnail – a photo which will appear on portfolio page and in featured and newest escorts. It will resize automatically.

11. Go back to top of the page and click the Publish button on the right.

P.S. When you upload thumbnails and go to actual page to check if everything is ok, you will find that some images may not have loaded. To see them you have to go to Tools > Delete Browsing History (in Internet Explorer) or tools > Clear Recent History in Firefox.

You can edit/delete profiles by going to POSTS
click on Edit
